How We Started - and Why It Matters
South Orange, NJ's Direct Primary Care practice built for families, professionals, and businesses.
Endure Health DPC began with a simple belief: primary care works best when it's built on time, trust, and real relationships. Dr. Candacy George, DO, and Calvin George, MSN, APRN, FNP-C, PMHNP-BC, co-founded this practice after years in traditional healthcare settings and seeing firsthand how the fee-for-service model eroded the patient-provider relationship.
Rushed appointments, administrative overload, and fragmented care left patients underserved and clinicians burned out. Direct Primary Care offered a better way. By removing insurance from the equation, we're able to spend real time understanding each person's health history, goals, and concerns.
We don't bill insurance for clinic visits, which means your care isn't reduced to codes, quotas, or rushed appointments. Instead, your membership supports a relationship-based model: access when you need it, time to talk things through, and a team that stays connected to your care over time.

Dr. Candacy George, DO
As a board-certified Family Medicine physician, I am passionate about helping individuals and families achieve lasting health through personalized, relationship-centered care. My approach combines evidence-based medicine with lifestyle medicine to help patients prevent disease, manage chronic conditions, improve their overall well-being, and enjoy healthier, more active lives.
I earned my Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine and completed my Family Medicine Residency at Hamilton Community Health Network and Michigan State University, where I had the honor of serving as Chief Resident. After residency, I remained on faculty, mentoring and teaching future family physicians while continuing to care for patients.

Calvin George is a double board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, US Army veteran, husband, father, and co-founder of Endure Health DPC. With over 20 years of healthcare experience, he brings a rare combination of clinical depth, personal dedication to health, and a genuine passion for helping others achieve their best lives.
Throughout his career, Calvin has cared for patients across a wide range of healthcare settings, developing extensive experience in treating chronic illnesses, helping individuals regain their health, and supporting lasting lifestyle change. His areas of focus include chronic disease management, preventive care, men's health, medical weight management, and mental health - approached with the same commitment to the whole person in every encounter.
